I am a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Sydney, where I study how interactions between organisms—from microbes to plants—shape resilience to environmental change. My research combines ecological theory, lab and field experiments, and molecular tools to uncover the mechanisms that determine how species respond to stress and how ecosystems function under shifting conditions.
While much of my current work focuses on plant–microbe interactions in marine systems, I have also worked in terrestrial ecosystems, giving me a cross-ecosystem perspective on how biotic interactions influence resilience. I am particularly interested in how these insights can be used to improve conservation and restoration outcomes in a rapidly changing world.
Beyond research, I love spending time in nature. Whether that’s swimming in the ocean, hiking or exploring new landscapes.
